History of BMC Foundation - Bori Madhaiah Charitable Foundation
Now non-profit/not-for profit companies are governed by Section 8 category and per Section 8 of Companies Act, 2013 where it is proved to the satisfaction of the Central Government that a person or an association of persons proposed to be registered under this Act as a private or public limited company. has in its objects the promotion of commerce, art, science, sports, education, research, social welfare, religion, charity, protection of environment or any such other object; Intends to apply its profits, if any, or other income in promoting its objects; and Intends to prohibit the payment of any dividend to its members the Central Government may, by licence issued in such manner as may be prescribed, and on such conditions as it deems fit, allow that person or association of persons to be registered as a limited company under this section. The entire development drives predominantly depended on the grant based supports from various sources including Government and other various sectors.
BMC Foundation - Bori Madhaiah Charitable Foundation vision is to contribute to national development by supporting projects domestically and globally that will improve lives and strengthen communities.
BMC global India Foundation to establish and run in India or abroad educational institutions like school, college, coaching classes, practical training classes, boarding houses, NGO, ashrams, gurukuls, teaching classes, placement services, libraries, hostels, canteens, deemed universities, workshops for rural development, social welfare society for women’s empowerment, orphanage homes, old age homes, research and development, organize sports events, national cultural programmes, children rights, conduct health care campaign, girl child and women’s empowerment, environmental awareness programmes, work for physically challenged and aged, science and non science stream labs and workshops of all professions and of all allied nature of classes and to conduct courses for under graduate, graduates and post graduate degree and diploma in the subjects and branches of all types of disciplines/faculties such as commerce, hardware, software, computers, science, arts, business management, engineering, science medical industrial, pharmacy, mining, military, music, dance, acting, sports, journalism, and any other field of education and to act as advisors, consultants, promoters, partners or associates for such business and to get affiliated/associated with Indian and/or Foreign Universities, institutes, colleges and grant degrees/diplomas etc on behalf of such affiliated institution.
The objectives of BMC Foundation - Bori Madhaiah Charitable Foundation:
- To establish, conduct or encourage Institutions of any level to impart Education and Training in different fields such as Education, Health, Culture of Social Economic and others of both formal and informal nature.
- To promote Sports, Literacy, Cultural, Social & Spiritual Activities through training campaigns and other programmes organized on its own or by others.
- To promote social-economic welfare activities particularly among Women, Children and other weaker sections of the Society.
- To work for Rural Development and Environmental Awareness and Protection.
- To organise and establish human resource training centres in the field of self-employment and rural development or eradication of social evils and promote nation integration.
- To take up research and development work on women and children social problems and rural development.
- To establish, health clinics, hospitals and medical centres to help to the poor and needy.
- To organize and conduct schools or welfare programmes for women spastic children.
- To organize and conduct training courses and camps for the betterment of unemployed men and women and work for the welfare of the Physically Challenged and Aged.
BMC Foundation - Bori Madhaiah Charitable Foundation has focused activities among communities living in the rural areas and urban slums of India all the states, and quests for the attainment of fullest utilization of Citizenship Rights for the Society’s target communities.
The organization realized that most of the people have had a low access to the working capital which they normally managed by way of borrowing from local money lenders at high rate of interest during the monsoon. The organization felt the relevance of introducing micro finance activity, involving the community women while forming a range of Self Help Groups with thrift and credit mode of operation.
BMC Foundation - Bori Madhaiah Charitable Foundation want to improve the whole world by connecting citizens, civil society organisations, media, corporates, and government officials and organisations by online and offline methods.
Poverty in India is a major issue. Rural Indians depend on unpredictable agriculture incomes, while urban Indians rely on jobs that are usually scarce. More than one third of India’s fast-growing population of more than one billion still lives below the poverty line, with large parts of the entire rural and urban population living their lives in poor and dehumanizing circumstances.
Across India children, young people and their families are looking forward to better life- opportunities and a secure life for themselves.
To make this possible BMC Foundation - Bori Madhaiah Charitable Foundation has been working in India all the states to improve the lives of underprivileged children, their families and communities- both urban & rural by creating access to their right to proper healthcare, basic education, healthy environment, protection from abuse & exploitation and enabling them to participate in decisions that affect their lives and surrounding communities.
